DOES IT HURT?

Getting a tattoo is generally painful but not unbearable. People may experience different levels of pain. The most painful places to get tattooed are those with the least fat, most nerve endings, and thinnest skin. You may want to take a look at the pain chart to see where it hurts most and least.

HOW MUCH WILL A TATTOO COST?

The cost of a tattoo will depend on many factors: 
Color. Colorful tattoos require more detail compared to single color tattoos and the more detailed it is the more time it will take.
Size. The larger the tattoo the higher the cost will be as it will cost more working time.
Design. More complex and denser designs will cost more than simple designs as they will require more time for me to perfect them.
The placement of the tattoo. There are parts of the body that are very sensitive and/or bony than other parts. The more sensitive parts will cost more than the less sensitive parts, as they will require slower and painstaking work. (Sensitive and bony parts include; sternum, collar bones, shoulders, ribs, abdomen, spinal cord, feet, hands, neck, knees, elbows and ankles. Less sensitive parts are upper and lower arms, tighs, calves and shoulder blades.)

 

HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION TAKE?

How long your tattooing session takes depends on the size of the tattoo and its complexity. Getting a new tattoo can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. In some cases they can take over a month or a year. Generally speaking, tattoos up to 10-15cm can be mostly completed wtihin a session. Each session is typically 4-6 hours.

HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?

After getting a tattoo, the outer layer of skin (the part you can see) will typically heal within 2 to 3 weeks, but it will take another few weeks to be truly healed at all layers of the skin. During the first 2-3 weeks, your skin does a lot of things to heal your tattoo like forming itchy flakes and scabs. Do not pick, itch, or peel them. If the urge to itch is unbearable, you may apply cold compress to the area (you may use an ice cube). The healing timeline can depend on the type of ink you get, the style, and the size. Completely healing all the layers of broken skin can actually take up to 4 months, even though your tattoo will appear healed before that point. The healing process varies depending on a person’s immune system, ability to fight infections, and aftercare treatment, especially cleaning and sun protection.
